Thinking about cycles in the crust of the earth, and in the passing of generations
A sculptor working in clay, I was fascinated by the continuing re-creation of the earth: erosion, sedimentation, sheets folding into the core, melting, pushing up, consolidation, erosion.... processes repeated in the forming and use of clay. Playing also with thoughts of the passing of generations, as I seem to have become the family archivist, and have to note the coming and going of the young and old - holding on to the records, to trans_end the finality of death?
